"I had absolutely incredible experiences and invitations to family functions, parties, short weekend trips to interesting national sites, meals and cultural events. I feel that I was functioning as a member of the community in Loja, beginning to understand certain customs and traditions.

This part of my experience was a wonderful education and in fact helped me to create culturally sensitive programs. I could not have had a more positive and fulfilling internship, I believe that this time will shape my life for years."
