Synergy Online is the official electronic
newsletter of the CSIH and is distributed on a
monthly basis exclusively to the Society’s membership.
Synergy Online is an e-bulletin which focuses on international health and
development. This e-bulletin carries a wide variety of
articles on CSIH’s activities, as well as
conference/workshop/seminar notices, and bulletins and job
listings in international health and development.
Contributions are welcome from anyone
within the membership. If you have stories they want to
post, events or jobs you would like advertised or have time
to assist with French translation, please feel free to
contact smineault@csih.org
CSIH Online
Services
CSIH is expanding ways to involve
CSIH members in the field of global health, and provide support
services to CSIH members. CSIH has long collaborated with the
CANCHID (Canadian Network on Health in Development) posting
distribution list based at York University. CSIH is now
launching a CSIH Global Health Forum on the
Linkedin a social networking site for professionals.
To access the CSIH Global Health Forum you need a free
Basic Membership in
www.Linkedin.com . After your membership is active,
do a Groups search on CSIH to join the CSIH Global Health
Forum. Initially the Forum has two additional subgroups. The
“Career Path Leads” subgroup contains links to online sites that
can assist in career choices in the areas of development and
global health. The “Links to other Global Health Sites” subgroup
contains links to online sites linked to global health. The CSIH
Global Health Forum, and its subgroups, will grow over time in
response to those involved with the CSIH Global Health Forum.
