Focus on
Learning
Project implementation and technical assistance is one of CSIH’s core
activities.
CSIH endeavors to manage and execute projects that build the capacity of private
and public health institutions in LMICs to achieve health sector reform, thereby
reducing health inequities and improving global health. CSIH envisions and
executes projects in accordance with its
organizational mission, values, and principles,
and places special emphasis on documenting the lessons learned from their
experience, in order to translate the acquired knowledge into future action. By
focusing on lessons learned, CSIH aims to develop best practices – successful
and sustainable models for global health projects and programs.
Who We Work With
CSIH works in partnership with Ministries of Health, non-governmental and
community-based organizations, and academic and training institutions. CSIH has
experience managing projects funded bilaterally (e.g. CIDA), multilaterally
(e.g. World Bank), and internationally (e.g. Pan American Health Organization,
Foreign Affairs Canada, and Industry Canada).
