CSIH has extensive experience providing technical assistance and implementing global health and development projects in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs). CSIH recruits, mobilizes, and manages multi-disciplinary teams of consultants who bring a breadth of relevant experience and expertise to the technical assistance that CSIH provides, specifically in the area of health systems strengthening.
The majority of international projects are in the realm of health sector reforms, where CSIH supports governments to transform their health systems by improving the quality of, and access to, health services. Focusing on increasing local capacity, developing health information systems, and quality improvement, CSIH is committed to using international best practices and evidence-informed decision-making.
In addition to implementing projects abroad, CSIH organizes Study Tours for delegates (typically beneficiaries from the international projects) to travel to Canada and learn about various aspects of the Canadian health system.
