While CSIH works on securing new funding for paid international internships, the organization is launching a new program to assist students and recent graduates able to subsidize their own overseas experience. For a modest administrative fee, CSIH will arrange short and long-term work experiences with overseas partner organizations, including international and national health organizations, Canadian and overseas NGOs, UN agencies and foreign Ministries of Health. Participants will make tangible contributions to the strengthening of health systems benefiting children, youth and other vulnerable populations in low and middle income countries (LMICs), while gaining valuable international perspective, organizational awareness and experience in Global Health.
