The FVP program, launched in 2006 by PAHO’s Director, Dr. Mirta Roses Periago is PAHO’s response to the MDGs. Its main purpose is to help the most vulnerable communities throughout the Region to achieve the MDGs through partnerships with mayors and their teams, non-governmental organizations, grass roots organizations, and other development agencies.
