Parliamentary Reception to Raise Awareness of Neglected Tropical Diseases

The Canadian Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases (CNNTD), together with MP Scott Simms as a member of the Multi-Party Global Health Caucus on HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria of the Parliament of Canada is hosting a Parliamentary reception to raise awareness about the impact of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs), present the economic case for investment in control of NTDs and describe opportunities for increased Canadian contribution in global efforts to end suffering from NTDs.

Short Course on Qualitative Methods in Global Infectious Diseases Research

This short, introductory course will build participants’ capacity and research literacy to use qualitative methods to inform, innovate, contextualize, evaluate, and strengthen the delivery and utilization of healthcare services and technologies for infectious diseases (e.g., tuberculosis, HIV, malaria, ebola) in LMIC settings. Deadline for those needing a Canadian VISA is February 28th, and registration closes May 1st.
